5/22/08 We are now accepting wholesale orders and the website is all redesigned, and might I say, much prettier than before. I learned a few Photoshop skills over the past month. So, if you want to apply to be a vendor, please read our Wholesale section and contact us with any questions. 4/30/08 I listed everything yesterday, and will be finishing the Whipped Body Butters today. The main scents for now will be chocolate or cupcake, as those are our best sellers. Head on over to our store and see what is available before they fly out the door!

4/22/08 Happy Earth Day! Sorry for the silence, but I have been busy trying to get some more bath and body stuff made and packaged. I made some great sugar scrubs, nail salves, hand balms, and shower gels. There are a few other new products and restocks on the old ones on the way. Also, I hope to finish some jewelry pieces I had on the back burner. Gift baskets will be available any day now, so please check back. Thanks for stopping by!
4/7/08 As you can see, the face lift has begun. I am mostly done. I need to adjust my EtsyMinis on the front page. There will be one for our bath products and one for my jewelry. We are trying to speed things up to get ready for Mother's Day. I got my first email tonight, inquiring about that exact topic...and YES...fabulous gift baskets are in the works and should be ready soon. We would like to thank you for the great feedback you have given us so far too. I appreciate that you take the time to come back to our Etsy store and let us know what you think. I was feeling a little down in the dumps today and reading your feedbacks on Etsy brightened my day. Please stop by soon to see the finished site. We will be restocking the items that have sold out on Etsy, and offering new ones as soon as we get the supplies in to do so.
4/6/08 Well, we had a stellar start for our Etsy store and appreciate everyone who hearted us on Etsy or purchased some products to try. We have more supplies on the way and will get to creating again as soon as they arrive. There will definitely be more of the cupcake line, and we will be adding some new lip products, soaps, shower gel, and whipped body butter. As for right now, we are going to be giving this website a face lift over the next week and it will be the home for www.embracebathandbody.com AND www.theroyalbead.com.
You can shop for bath products and jewelry at the same time. How cool is that? So, if things look a little odd when you stop by, please excuse our mess. LOL!
3/30/08 Finally....I am ready to "launch" my new bath and body store on Etsy tomorrow! I have some really yummy products that I am really excited about and look forward to sharing them with you! I haven't given up jewelry altogether (although some of you were probably wondering), just took a break to get this new endeavor up and running. Well, make sure to stop by my new store tomorrow...I should have everything up by the end of the day. Hope ya'll had a lovely weekend. Looks like ours is going out with a bang. I hear a thunder storm rollin' in, so it is time to turn off the computer and unplug it till tomorrow.
3/13/08 Is it just me, or does anyone else seem to get a cold around the time of Easter each year? I haven't had a cold in ages (but have had my share of allergies and stomach problems this year) and came down with a doozy of one on Monday night. So, I haven't really got around to doing anything. I have been itching to make some things, but don't even have the energy for that. Hopefully I will start to feel better tomorrow. I miss my normal life. ( : Hope you all are fine and well. 3/10/08 Another week has passed. I got a lot more bath products made last week, but still no labels. Cari is home now and will probably give it a try sometime soon. Her computer went out right before they went out of town. We had some crazy weather here this week, but nothing compared to what our families up north have had. Sis, if you are reading this, I hope you didn't get any part of that 20 inches that fell in Ohio.
I haven't worked on any jewelry, as silver prices went up over $20 an ounce recently. I don't know when they will go down, so my selection may be slim for a while. Gotta love the economy right now, eh?

3-3/08 Monday has arrived, whether we are ready for it or not. I don't have anything new in my stores, but will hopefully be finishing up on the labels for our new bath and body line soon. My friend and business partner, Cari, had a death in the family yesterday, and will be taking some time off and heading out of town. Her brother was tragically killed in a car accident Sunday morning. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. I will check back in soon with an update. Thanks, Lori
2/22/08 Hope ya'll had a good week. I am glad the weekend is finally here. I wasn't feeling well the past few days and really need to catch up on some sleep. I just listed some "destash" beading items in my surplus Etsy store, and some have sold right away, but there are still more available. Go to www.theroyalbeadtreasure.etsy.com to check them out.
Also, as soon as our labels are ready, my friend & business partner, Cari, and I will be launching our new bath and body product line on Etsy. I have been so busy making soap that I haven't felt like cooking all week! The house smells really good though!. I will keep you updated on the launch. Have a good weekend!
2/19/08 Yup, we have a broken elbow. Rob saw the specialist yesterday, and when he came home in a full arm cast, I knew it was broken for sure. He has to wear it for 2-3 weeks, and they are saying it could take months for it to get back to full use. There are a lot of things he can't do on his own, but I am also surprised at what he CAN do. I think he is pretty miserable about the situation, which is expected. Hopefully everything will heal up well. Thanks for checking in!
2/17/08 Well, Rob went to the doctor today and they took Xrays of his arm. Looks like he may have fractured a small part of his elbow. They sent him home in a sling and we are back to the icing routine. The bad part is that he is a dentist, so working with his hands is going to be quite difficult. Hopefully he will heal quickly, as he isn't paid on salary.
Speaking of which, I just permanently reduced all the prices on jewelry in my Etsy store. I will not be taking custom orders and these prices are a one time deal on these specific pieces. That means, if I make more flower bracelets in the future, they will be back at the old price. Hope everyone had a better weekend than we did!
2/16/08 Yup, still alive. We have had a crazy busy week between work and church activities. I think Rob and I only got to eat supper together once so far this week, and today, he nearly killed himself while biking with some friends from Church. Thankfully, he was wearing a helmet when he flew off of his bike, but he has cuts scrapes and bruises all over the top half of his body, and we are busy trying to keep swelling down on his left elbow. At least the weather has been nice. My friend Cari and I got started on some of the bath and body products in our new line, and I hope to get some more done this week. I will be having my grand opening on Etsy in the next few weeks. 2/4/08 Well, we finally got internet service, phone, and cable hooked up in the new house today. I am slowly catching up on things. My Etsy store is now open again, and you can feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks for being patient, and hope everyone had a good weekend!

1/28/08 Starting out with a fresh blog, so I cleaned everything else out. We are in the midst of moving to another house in town. The past week hasn't been too great and we have had to scramble to find a place last minute after our current landlord never returned calls about what was going on with the lease. We have had a ton of other issues with him and he rarely returns our phone calls, had a lien on the house, etc. ,so we went ahead and found another house. It was a hard decision, and since it is last minute, I am ready to pull my hair out from the stress.
Just so you know, we will be without internet for a short while, and my Etsy store will be up, but closed for shipping. If you buy something, don't expect me to know about it or ship anything right away. I will try to check things on my husband's laptop at a coffee shop or something, but I can't guarantee when. So, as of tomorrow, Jan. 29th, I am "on vacation." Hope the rest of you have a good week. --Lori
